Alaska Vacation Highlight

I took my two young adult sons on a long-awaited trip to Alaska and a hike with Claire from Seward Wilderness Collection was our most memorable experience! Claire actually read my sign up survey and knew what kind of experience I was hoping for. She was professional and kind and thoughtful. We hiked partially up Exit Glacier and saw some amazing views. The hike was the perfect difficulty level for us also. Seward Wilderness Collective is obviously a great company with knowledgeable guides. I would highly recommend SWC!

Outstanding Private Tours

Though we're from Alaska and have thoroughly enjoyed hiking in many places, this experience was still absolutely remarkable. From the outset, we knew what we needed to bring, as the guides sent us a clear list of things to bring with us that would make our hike enjoyable. I hadn't before understood the true value of a private tour - we could pick the pace, stop to pick berries or take photos on a whim, and really appreciate the beauty around us on our ascent, without having to worry if we were too fast or not fast enough. The guides and staff were fun and personable, and it was well worth the cost. We recommend this tour to anyone who may be considering it and we look forward to taking another trip with the Seward Wilderness Collective in the near future.

Kenai Fjords National Park

I have far too many good things to say about Seward Wilderness Collective to fit in this little review, but I'll try! First off, our guide, Emily, was incredible. A trained biologist who works in Antarctica during the winters (yes, really!), she was an absolute beacon of friendly help and a font of knowledge. She knew tons about different edible berries, helped us spot a bear and a hoary marmot, and explained tons of incredible facts about glaciers and whales and the diverse yet fragile ecosystem of Kenai Fjords National Park. The company is a locally owned and run Seward small business, and they are so professional and kind. From the van pick ups to the gear loans to the sack lunches they pack, they really have their stuff together and provided us with the best guides of our entire 5-week Alaska journey to see every park!

Amazing Hike

We did the Resurrection Bay hike. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable of the area, and we really enjoyed talking about the collective's mission and work with the community. The hike was really beautiful and loved the mix of being in the forest and by the bay. What drew us to this hike was their commitment to talking about climate change and creating awareness of its impact in such a beautiful place like Seward. We'll definitely be booking more adventures with them when we go back.

Excellent and Educational

We went on the Exit Glacier hike with Seward Collective and it was amazing. Their local insights, perspectives and knowledge turned a normal hike into a deep connection and learning experience.
