We believe a farmers market will: bolster local food security, improve climate resilience, provide economic opportunities for locals, and strengthen our community. Please get in touch if you would like to be a vendor. Stay tuned for market details!
We’d love SWC to be a springboard for community events with a focus on sustainability. One of our goals is to revive the Gear Swap for used outdoor equipment, but we have a long list of other ideas!
Education and professional/personal development opportunities make our community stronger, more resilient, and more innovative. Courses are in the works through NNOCCI (National Network for Ocean and Climate Change Interpretation), National Association for Interpretation (NAI), and cultural awareness workshops. We’ll make registration available on our website.
